Lucas Garrett’s Medical Fund

This fundraising page is set up on behalf of Josh and Angela Garrett, for their son Lucas.

Lucas was born on Valentine’s Day this year. Shortly after his birth, Josh and Angela were told that he would need to be transferred to Albany Med NICU for further testing, as he was not getting enough oxygen to his lungs. Once there, they found out that he has dextrocardia, and numerous congenital heart defects. After 10 days at Albany Med, Lucas was flown to Boston Children’s Hospital, where he remains today. Since he has been in Boston, he has already had one surgery, to provide a stable source of oxygen to his lungs. Lucas has a long road ahead with recovery, as well as future surgeries.

I had the privilege of meeting my nephew this past weekend. He is the most beautiful little boy, with the biggest personality. I cannot wait to continue to watch him learn and grow!

The money raised through this fundraiser will go towards Lucas’ medical expenses, as well as travel expenses for Josh and Angela. Please consider donating what you can to help this beautiful family. ❤️
