The mission of the Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center (WilcoCAC) is to provide a safe place to disclose child abuse, reduce the emotional trauma for children and non-offending family members, and to extend proffesional services that protect the integrity of an investigation.
They provide services such as forensic exams, medical exams (SANE), mental health counseling, and outreach training. They are a invaluable resource for Williamson county.
Monies raised for this Eagle project will assist in providing an outdoor area that the children can access when needed. Whether it's to take a break, decompress, or just feel like a kid this outdoor space will hopefully provide calm and peace in a place where much stress can be found.
