Lucas Family Travel Fund

This month our coach and friend, Zach Lucas, was diagnosed with Stage 3 Pelomorphic Non Small Cell Carcinoma. This accounts for less than 1% of all non small cell cancers. Zach is 31 and married to Megan. They have two small boys, Woodrow and Wilder. Zach has been a firefighter in Tulsa and The Village for over the past four years. 

Zach is having surgery in Atlanta in July 30th to remove the tumor from his right lung. He will require a 14 day stay to recover from surgery.  In the meantime they will develop a chemotherapy treatment plan that may require them to stay in Atlanta or travel back and forth. They are possibly looking at total treatment  time in Atlanta for three months of radiation is required. 

Megan is a teacher in Edmond and currently there are many unknowns about what their life will look like in the coming months. 

They have a fight ahead of them, but we know how strong this family is. We would love to help take away some of the financial burden of travel and time away from work. Please keep their family in your prayers! Zach and Megan will leave for Atlanta in July 26th.
