Lucas was born in Calgary, the bright middle child of five. From the very beginning, he was surrounded by love—cherished by his parents, adored by his siblings, and treasured by family and friends. Growing up, Lucas was the light in every room, the kind of soul whose laughter lifted spirits and whose kindness left a mark on everyone he met.

After a tragic accident, Lucas's injuries proved catastrophic. In the face of unimaginable grief, Esther—his devoted mother—made the selfless and heroic decision to donate his organs, giving the gift of life to others even as she had to say goodbye to her beloved son.

Everywhere his family looks reminds them of Lucas. In the sunlight, in familiar places, in every small moment—his presence is felt. Everything reminds them of him. He is deeply missed, but his spirit is absolutely everywhere.

Now, as Esther and her family begins to navigate this profound loss, we are reaching out for support.
