Help Us Bring Lucas Home
It is with the heaviest hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Lucas Bear. Lucas was just 18 years old, a young man full of dreams, love, and the potential to overcome the challenges he faced. He was fiercely loved by his family and community, and his loss has left a deep void in all our hearts.
Lucas’s life was marked by both his incredible kindness and the struggles he endured. He was a bright soul who brought joy to those who knew him. He was deeply cared for, and his family fought tirelessly to help him find peace and healing. While the system failed him, we will always remember his laughter, his warmth, and his gentle heart.
Our family is now faced with the heartbreaking task of bringing Lucas home to Saskatoon, where we will lay him to rest. We are coming together to honor his memory, celebrate his life, and lay him to rest.
We are reaching out to our community for help to cover the costs of:
Travel expenses for 15 family members traveling from Vancouver to Saskatoon.
Funeral expenses to bring Lucas home and give him a proper burial.
Other associated costs during this incredibly difficult time.
Any amount, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference in easing the financial burden on our family and allowing us to focus on grieving and celebrating Lucas’s life. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser will help immensely.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love, prayers, and support. Lucas was deeply loved, and with your help, we will ensure he is laid to rest with the dignity and care he deserves.
Lucas was more than the struggles he faced. He was a son, brother, grandson, nephew, and a friend who had a kind spirit and a gentle soul. He had the ability to make those around him feel seen and valued, and we will carry his memory with us forever.
Thank you for standing with us during this time. Your generosity means the world to our family.
