Lucas Ashe Memorial Fund

To Know Lucas was to love Lucas.  And to know him these last few years you know, Cancer fu*%ing sucks.  It has taken away one of the kindest, smartest and most gifted human beings a person would meet.  He was a Navy veteran, a husband, father, brother, son and uncle.  At 39, he was taken too soon and left behind the love of his life and 2 young children who are 2 and 7.





As he battled cancer, he stayed busy, most often building.  He wanted to build a legacy for his family any way he knew how. He had so many gifts; just one of which was turning whatnot into treasure.  Everything was a potentially raw building material.  He didn’t like to talk about a scenario that didn’t involve him beating cancer and being able to be there with his kids to help foster their growth but alas the lord called him up.  



So now that Lucas has earned his angel wings; Bridget and the kids start a new chapter.  They will begin a process to reestablish themselves after having been full time cancer warriors for so many years.  They will find ways to make new memories while honoring Lucas's memory to try to fill the void he leaves behind.  Long term, the kids he leaves behind need good educations.
