Lucas my 12 year old son hit by car

On Thursday, April 11th, 2019 our beautiful 12 year old boy Lucas was struck by a pickup truck walking home from school. The accident occurred 2 blocks from our home. Luckily he was rushed to Hackensack Pediatric hospital where he underwent an emergency craniotomy due to a fractured skull and brain bleed. He also suffered a lacerated liver, fractured ribs, collapsed lung and fractured pelvis. After six days in the Pediatric intensive care unit our prayers have been answered and he is now recovering in the pediatric hospital.
