Luca Needs Wheels to Rebuild His Life

Intro:

My name is Luca. I’m really trying to do my best to avoid circling the drain right now with very little to my name. I’m a professional welder! ‍ But circumstances have landed me in a difficult position where it’s impossible for me to travel to work, and I am in desperate need of a half-decent, cheap car so I can get back on my own two feet.

My story:

I left Colorado, selling my van, tools, and RV to come to Florida after being told I would have a better life out here by close family. Well… my loyalty unfortunately led me astray, and a stream of bad luck has sapped me down to the bone… or I would not be in this position.

It’s been over 6 months since I was promised a vehicle I was told I would have… it has not happened, and the proverbial $#1¥ has most certainly hit the fan!

After I got here, I was making some money for a couple of months, but my paycheck went from weekly to once every 2 to 3 weeks as my efforts bore less and less fruit.

I’m tired… and really worried for my future in these tough times. I’m sure many have been in the same situation? As now I am all but homeless and jobless, without my final safety net with my mom offering me a place to stay. But I am a grown man, and I do not want to be a burden to her in the slightest. I should be helping her! And I definitely need to get on my feet to repay her for her kindness.

She doesn’t have much room here, and the closest businesses for my profession in welding are over a 20-30 minute drive. I’ll need to carry heavy stuff too, so walking or cycling isn’t an option.

I really need some help getting on my feet. If I had a vehicle like the cheap but decent one I found here, I could get back on my feet and sort my life out, repay my mom, and really start afresh… Help me rebuild my dreams of a normal life, please.
