Hello,

my husband, Aaron, and I have had our puppy (Luca) for about a month now. Here’s a quick story recap on how this came about:

Our groomer sent us a photo of Luca, stating he has a heart murmur. It’s a grade 6 murmur (the most severe). This puts sweet little Luca at risk for developing congestive heart failure. Naturally, this pulls at our heartstrings. Our groomer said the store can’t sell him, so they are giving him away. (He just needs a good home and a lot of love). We took him in and love him. ❤️

Today was his appointment with a cardiologist. (originally this was scheduled out to February 2022, thankfully we heard back sooner).

He was diagnosed with PULMONARY STENOSIS (kinked hose for the heart). It’s severe, and he will need surgery sooner than later. It ain’t cheap, but Aaron and I will do what we can because we love him. The advice we got is to start a “gofund me” account. It’s difficult for me to reach out and ask for help, but this is certainly a unique situation for us. So we will go from there. ✌❤️ We are happy he is in our life. This little guy is all love.
