Hi all,

We are raising funds for our 20yo son, Luca.

After many years of hard work and dedication to the sport, Luca has achieved selection to the GB Climbing Team and will compete in World Climbing’s World Cup events all around the world this year.

After a difficult 2025, where his season was cut short by injury, he’s had the strength to bounce back and achieve 4th place at the 2026 British Bouldering Championship, securing his place. And all whilst squeezing in the first year of his degree studies in Sheffield!

We’re incredibly proud of his achievements, and want to support his ambitions to push even further (with a long term target of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics!), but due to a lack of overall funding in the sport, all of Luca’s travel and training costs are self-funded, and the financial burden of international competition is all too real.

We’ve been very lucky so far to have support from Rock On Climbing, Mile End Climbing Wall and Black Diamond, but as we head into 2026 (with comps in Shanghai, Bern, Madrid, Prague, Innsbruck, Bangkok and Salt Lake City!), we really need more help to continue the journey.

All monies raised will go directly to travel to competitions and training for Luca, as he aims to gain international ranking points and head towards his Olympic dreams.
