Let me start by saying that Luca is cancer-free!!!

She is happy, THRIVING, has a beautiful lypo-suctioned neck and is ready to get back on the trails and swim in the rivers.

So no sob story here. Luca and I continue our animal rescue, our fostering, our triage, roadside rescues, our undercover investigations, and doing literally everything we can to save animals.

In order to keep doing the good work, we have to chop away at her vet bills. The cost of care and home for the animals doesn't stop.

My best friend Jenny on the beach said - "you do so much, ask for help!" And I grunted because I hate asking for help. Then she reminded me that my home is a literal animal sanctuary and I can't do it alone.

So here we are - I'm asking for Luca and for all the animals who we save. The sooner we can get out from under this vet debt, the sooner we can celebrate her being cancer-free out in some wilderness, wherever she wants to go.
