In the past weeks, a sever tropical cyclone has hit the coast of West Sumatra, Indonesia, causing severe floods and damages to infrastructure in local communities. Many people have lost their homes, livelihoods, and loved ones.

I, Camila, have close personal relationships with local communities in Lubuk Alung, and have been continuously informed of the damages the natural disasters have caused in this village. Despite the local community working together to help their neighbours, they lack the resources and human power to address all of these problems themselves.

Our goal is to raise funds for Lubuk Alung to help them provide water, food, clothes, shelter, and sanitation for families that have been affected by the natural disaster. The funds will go directly to LA Rafting, a community-led tourism organisation that has been leading initiatives to help the village in this disaster and in previous years.
