LuAnn Roberts

On December 9, 2020 my beautiful cousin LuAnn Roberts unexpectedly passed away. Her daughters were not prepared for her sudden passing. As her cousin I’m reaching out to her friends and family for help with funeral costs in this difficult time.
Those who knew LuAnn loved her. She had a kind, caring and loving heart. She loved play poker and organizing our family reunions because family was important to her. She always looked forward to spending time with her Grandchildren and her Great Granddaughter.

LuAnn Roberts, age 66 of Saginaw passed away December 9, 2020 at Wellspring Lutheran Services Home in Frankenmuth.  Daughter of the late James and Patricia (Chaltraw) Roberts, LuAnn was born December 7, 1954 in Saginaw. She attended Bridgeport High School and later attended Great Lakes Junior College which later became Davenport University where she earned her degree in Business Administration.  LuAnn then served as Financial Aide Officer at Davenport University until her retirement. She was a member of St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Bridgeport.

Surviving are 2 daughters, Melissa Stoddard, and Angela Stoddard; 2 grandchildren, Nathaniel Layer and Ariana Stoddard; 2 great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Williams, and Armani Southward; her siblings, David (Donna Mitchell) Roberts, Joseph (Rose Lapan) Roberts, Terri (Michael) Spaulding, and John (Laura) Roberts; 8 nieces and nephews, Holly, David, Nicholas, Samantha, Jason, Bryan, Amanda, Caitlyn; and many aunts and uncles including a very special uncle, Larry Soule who was always her handyman.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Debra Jean.

LuAnn loved spending time with her best friend Karen Losee and her cousin Lori Tourangeau, who both helped her tremendously. She also enjoyed playing cards with her cousins better known has ‘The Golden Girls”.

Funeral Service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave. in Saginaw with Rev. Fr. John Mancini officiating.  Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Monday from 11:30 a.m. until time of service at 2:00p.m.
