Henry Romines Jr. Memorial Fund

On February 4, 2015, the lives of everyone in our family were rocked to the core.

Henry Romines Jr., resident of Grand Terrace, C.A., a son, a brother, a cousin, a grandson, and an amazing friend to all he ever encountered was fatally killed in a car accident by a driver who was driving on a suspended license for a DUI conviction. He was just doing his job much like every other hard working person, delivering parts for the place he worked when out of nowhere a man driving a Chevy Silverado made a left turn in front of Henry's oncoming work vehicle hitting him head on, totaling the small Nissan Versa Henry was driving. The car was so badly damaged it took the Jaws of Life to get him out. Henry was pronounced deceased at the scene. There was no warning, no time for him to tell his family that he loved them or vice versa, it was just over just like that.

My cousin was one of the sweetest young men I have ever known. He smiled all the time, he was super charismatic, funny, and very loving. I can remember the times that our entire family would get together you could usually find Henry entertaining the younger kids, whether it was with board games or video games. He was just that awesome. He had such an amazing relationship with his mom, dad, and sister, and was deeply loved by so many.

Now he will never have the chance to meet the love of his life and marry. Nor will he ever be able to become an amazing father we all know he would have been. His parents will never be able to celebrate these wonderful events in their only sons life and his sister will never be able to celebrate these same wonderful events in her only brothers life.

This was a senseless tragedy that could have been prevented. But instead, it took the life away from a young man we all loved.

My cousin Henry was only 23 years young.

Too young...

Too soon...

Never forgotten and forever loved....

We love you, Henry! May the angels smile upon you and may the Lord hold you tightly in his loving embrace...

We ask that you just please keep the Romines family in your prayers as they go through this time of pain, grief, and climb that steep mountain of healing.

Any and all donations will go toward funeral arrangements, costs, and any expenses that the Romines family may incur during this difficult time.

Thank you and may you all be blessed above and beyond...

~Hug your loved ones. Tell them you love them. Never wait until later because sometimes later never comes. And please share the streets and be courteous to other drivers around you. Your life just might be the one saved.~

Shinol Romines
