Little Seamus

This lovely boy has been in with us now for a week it has been a really hard one. With the help of Wirral Animal Welfare Association we got this little boy safe after being handed into a vets by his owner. Seamus is only 5 years old and has a condition called Addisons disease, he started treatment for this but unfortunately met some complications meaning he has suffered some neurological damage. Our vets Medivet Heswall were amazing as always dedicating a lot of time and research into why this happened and what can be done to help him. He was so poorly he had to be taken by Sharon our amazing vet across to the 24/7 Alder Medivets in Liverpool as he was displaying neurological episodes since then and he has needed the full time care and the medication to help balance him to start making improvements.

First couple and days were very difficult as we didn't know if he could fight what was happening but he has shown amazing strength and is a determined little boy. It's going to be a long journey to get him back on his feet but we are with him every step of his fight. We are currently a little over £1000 with his vet fees so far (with fees that will be taken and as he is still in the vets there will be more fees before he leaves there) and we know times are hard but Seamus is fighting and we are really routing for him. Everyone who has met him has been touched by what he is going through.
