Ian and Ora Rebuild

Donation protected
A little background on why I am here to help raise funds for a couple of dear friends of mine, Ora and Ian. On the morning of February 7th, a fire started in the master bedroom of their home. It is not exactly clear on what started the fire, but the fire department believes it was due to a space heater that was on an running in the room.  Fortunately, Ian an Ora were not in the room during all of this, as they would have been sleeping and may not be here today. Instead, they happened to be spending their Friday night/Saturday morning with friends and family at a local bar where Ian participates in Kilt Fridays along with many of his military/former military friends. They had three boys at home during this time under the care of the eldest, 15 year old son, MJ. Along with him was their 13 year old son, Matt and their 8 year old son, Luke. They also have many fur babies that were in the home, to include their dog, Moonpie, and 5 kitties/cats. Matt noticed the smoke and woke his brothers to get them up and out of the house. MJ stayed to save the dog and the one cat he could find at the time (all the others were later found and in good health). Once the fire department was able to put out the flames, they found that the only thing that saved the trailer and the children and pets was the master bedroom door being closed which prevented the fire from burning anything outside of the room. Ora and Ian, however, lost all of their things to include clothes, pictures, sentimental things from the children and they also lost a part of themselves. They have many friends here who love them and want to show their support by helping them get on their feet. They cannot stay in the trailer due to the extent of the damage. I have had the pleasure of having them stay with me and it has been great getting to know the kids and see how well they are being raised. It really is a testament to this couple and their love for their family. These kids are so respectful and productive and proactive in the community. I would like to raise as much as we can to help the family rebuild from what they have lost and to move forward from this. Everyone made it out safe and unharmd and that, in itself, is a true blessing. Any donations are greatly appreciated and will be put towards clothes and the essentials and help with finding them a new place to call home and to build new memories. Any little bit helps and would make a world of difference and would be beyond appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read their story.  If you have any questions or would like more information, please feel free to contact me.
