LRTC is proud to have 5 exceptional students

representing not only us, but the State of Maine at the national level. We are looking for donations to help us fundraise and cover costs associated with sending them on this 6-day opportunity.

In January 2023, students took a moderate risk and participated in our local SkillsUSA competitions in many different skill categories. The winners then traveled to Bangor in March and represented LRTC at the State-wide competition. Students performed trade skills, had interviews, and took tests while competing against their peers from all over the state. Some of the students who won a gold medal at the State-wide competition were invited to advance to the National SkillsUSA Leadership & Skills Conference. This National SkillsUSA competition will take place in June and be held in Atlanta Georgia.
