Police Officer: Show Him Some Love!

Donation protected

My dad is the kind of man who has devoted his whole life to helping others.  Let me quickly tell you a little bit about his story:

He became a Police Officer to make a difference.  While in the line of duty, he had a baby die in his arms (he was the first responder and when he got there, it was too late).   To this day, he tells me, "if only I could have gotten there quicker....maybe"  Then he starts to tear up and stops talking.

He has helped best friends with jobs, relationships, children, money, fixed there computers, worked on their cars/ lawnmowers etc...all for free.
He is known everywhere for Helping Others... no matter what!
He needs our help.

The pressure, pain and politics of law enforcement have taken there toll.  When he was of retirement age, he hung in for a few more years, then retired.

He wanted to get back to doing things he enjoyed (helping people, fixing things and driving).

Through a series of misfortunate events, he was forced to hire legal counsel to fight a court case that ended up being dropped.  The truth came out and it was realized that the entire story was made up.  But, because of his profession, he was scrutinized and bastardized.  He was essentially guilty before any real facts came out.  He had to take over $30,000 out of his retirement to pay for all this.

Then, a few years later, he was helping a young man out who was in a difficult spot.  He gave this person a job, taught him about computer repair, even helped him fix his car.  Then, this person stole over $10,000 from him.

Feeling beat up and frustrated, I sensed that he was losing the will to live (not suicidal, but just always down and out).  I had a pickup tuck and an idea.

My dad used to drive semi-truck prior to his law enforcement days (it was a family business).  He still loves driving and hauling.  So, we drove to Indiana and I paid for him to get his DOT physical and paid to have my truck retrofitted to meet the requirements needed to deliver campers to dealerships.  He drove my truck for 3 months, drove all over the country and was having fun again.  We could see such a difference starting to take hold.  He was coming to church, praying, laughing again.

Then, he decided he wanted to get his own truck and stop using mine.  He had shown that money could be made, so we started to search for his truck.

We found a truck in Dallas (a long way from Ohio).  We checked the CarFax, even called the Ford Dealer it had been serviced at prior, asked for pics/ videos etc.  We went to Dallas to purchase...drove it and it worked great!  Everything checked out, he bought it and we drove it home.

BUT it broke (water pump, cracked exhaust manifold and wiring issues), then again (flex plate & torque converter), then again  (transmission, flexplate again and torque converter again), then again (engine bearings, flexplate...needed a whole new engine), then again (turbo's and intercooler).  All said and done:  He has spent over $18,795.41 on repairs.

All credit cards are maxed (his and mine), retirement is fully drained and I need your help to get him back running.

Please help me raise some money to help him out.  He literally has nothing left.

Let's give back to a man who has spent his whole life giving to others...please watch the video.

Thank you.
