On July 26, 2019, the Lozada family's home in Pacifica suffered extensive damage due to a fire. Luckily, no one was in the house when the fire started, and Luz, Sigrid, Astrid, Jorge and their husky, Lobo, were unharmed. This tragedy followed just three years after the family had suffered the loss of their father in 2016. Since then, the family has bonded together to make sure the oldest sister has the help she needs for her disabilities and that the youngest has been able to finish school. The family now faces an uncertain future with nowhere to live and the total loss of all personal items. We hope these funds will help cover some rental income for a year while they rebuild their home and stabilize.
