On July 19, 2020 my brother Loy Chappell was in a tragic motorcycle accident that almost took his life. He had to be med flighted to OU medical center where he has been hospitalized in Trauma ICU in critical condition. He suffered a brain injury, and severe road rash to most of his body which will need home care when he is discharged. Medical expenses and the road to recovery will be very expensive for him as he will be off of work for awhile. My mother will also be off work to be home to take care of him.
