Lowry Family Fire
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Rachel Egle & last night - Monday, April 17th my friends, the Lowry's wood shed caught fire - a total loss along with everything that was inside, tools. Chainsaws. Wood splitter. Mowing equipment. Cords upon cords of wood. The wood burner to heat the home. A deluxe child's playset. Siding to the main house and barn. Among various other things. Paul & LouAnn Lowry are the homeowners [in their 70s] and they built this themselves back in '94. Paul has been a ScoutMaster for the local Homerville boyscout troop for over 24 years with LouAnns help and involvement every step on the way. Paul also is a veteran having served in the Vietnam War. They have raised 4 kids & helped raise their grandchildren. Their teenage autistic grandson currently resides under their care in home. This family has always been an open door for anyone that ever needed a helping hand & now it's time they have a few given to them. The insurance deductible will be a huge cost. The gas line also has to be completely replaced and emergency plumber had to be called. They are without heat for a few nights other than a few space heaters. This will be a long, long process to get it all cleaned up. Let's show this loving family the the kindness they deserve in this difficult tragic loss they're going through.
