Lowest cost place to play tennis in Milton Keynes

Hello, my name is Martin Clarke and I'm the Chairperson of the Old Bradwell Tennis Club in Bradwell Village, Milton Keynes. We are and will continue to be, the lowest-cost place to play tennis in Milton Keynes. Our courts are accessible to all, and we are especially focussing on younger, older, and more disadvantaged people being able to enjoy playing tennis in our two-hard court facility in Bradwell Village.

You can please help us to afford to resurface our courts. They haven't been done for 15+ years, and are now starting to become slippery and uneven, and this will especially impact our players who are less able to move freely. We have been setting money aside, and have done a good job. Bradwell parish Council, in particular, have helped us with a £5,000 grant, and we are applying to four other grant awarding bodies.

We don't want to increase our fees, as that would go against everything we stand for. We have 115 members, and to pay for the resurfacing the fees would have to go up by at least £100 a member (even with the money we've been saving and the generous grants)

Can you help us? If we can raise £5000 from our members, supporters and friends, we can then demonstrate to grant awarding bodies that we can raise at least a good portion of the money ourselves.
