Hi! I'm Lowell and I am looking for some support to feel safe on the roads. In November 2023, I was in a car accident that left me hospitalized for a month and unable to walk for several. I have made an astounding recovery since then and have been able to return to driving and working despite the seriousness of my injuries. I am dealing with an unfortunate car issue currently where my car will begin to run sluggishly and, at worst, stop moving entirely while I am in traffic. As you can imagine, I have some significant car trauma from my accident in 2023. All I want is to feel safe in a vehicle, so this pretty scary for me. After running some error codes and seeing several mechanics for different opinions, I was told I will have to replace both catalytic converters in my '06 Subaru Forester. I was quoted between $2,000-$2,400 for these repairs all together. I have scheduled myself for some extra shifts to offset this cost and am only asking for some help with a portion of these costs. I am also currently saving up for nursing school that begins in August and recently spent a chunk of money on an upcoming trip, so this cost is hitting me at an unfortunate time. I am looking for some financial support to feel safe in my car again. I would greatly appreciate anyone willing to contribute towards this unexpected cost or share this fundraiser so that I can feel safe and secure in my Subaru.
