Lower School Aquathlon for HYT 2024
The Lower School pupils are raising money for the School's main charity - Haileybury Youth Trust (HYT) in Uganda.
Alongside the aquathlon, the pupils are working on group projects based on Uganda and / or the work of HYT. The projects will be exhibited in the SciTech foyer on June 10th, the day of the aquathlon.
HYT trains young Ugandans in a sustainable, environmentally-friendly building technology, giving them construction skills and improving their education, health and employment opportunities.
HYT also transforms communities, constructing low-cost school buildings, affordable housing, rainwater storage tanks and sanitation facilities. This is done in a way that preserves rather than damages the beautiful Ugandan landscape.
