Devin & Ashley’s home suffered extensive fire & smoke damage last evening after a fire broke out while they were away at dinner. They have a long road of cleaning, repairs, & rebuilding ahead.
Here are Ashley’s words about yesterday:
“So...what started as a peaceful Sunday ended in a very scary situation. Yesterday while the girls and I were out to dinner with papaw our fire alarm went off. Devin received the call from Fleenor alerting us.
Without that security system, without papaw's quick thinking and the Greeneville Fire Department our house would be completely gone.
What unfortunately is a terrible situation could have been so much worse.
My family is safe and that is the only thing that matters. However if you ask a certain four year old she is a little distraught that some of her toys didn't make it.
We appreciate every single one of you that has reached out and feel incredibly blessed that so many of you have offered your love and support in so many ways.
We have a long road ahead for repairs and clean up but in the end it is what it is and it's just a house full of stuff.”
