At Lowcountry Veterans, our mission is to provide transitional housing to the homeless United States military veterans in the Charleston area. Through our partnership with the VA, we have the ability to house veterans in an uplifting and motivating environment, free from alcohol and drugs.
In addition to lodging, we provide food and transportation services, while also facilitating volunteer, educational, and employment opportunities through our community network. By the end of their stay, our goal is to help each veteran find stable employment and permanent housing.
Lowcountry Veterans is an all-volunteer board and nobody receives compensation. We simply do it because we love it and pride ourselves on the fact that 100% of every tax-deductible donation helps with our mission.
Think about this:
If you slept in a bed last night and were blessed to shower and enjoy breakfast this morning, this is the gift we want to give to the homeless regardless of their journey. We greatly appreciate any and all contributions. Thank you!
