All new donations (and funds already raised over the initial $1,000), will be distributed to Donovan Drew, to assist in recovery from fire. The initial $1,000 (which has already been raised) will be split equally: $500 to Donovan and $500 donated to University Lowbrow Astronomers Club (subject to their acceptance), intended to retroactively support the club's assistance already given to Donovan.
