Her laugh... that's my favorite thing about Jill! When she laughs, it's impossible not to laugh right along with her. Her heart... she is always the first one to jump in and help her friends when they are having a tough time. Her smile... it hasn't dimmed, even though this year has been one of the toughest years of her life.
In November of 2020, Jill McClanahan was diagnosed with high grade or level III DCIS. This is a fast growing form of breast cancer that has a high incidence of recurring, even after surgery. She will undergo an MRI on December 2 to determine the exact form of treatment, but at the minimum, she will require surgery and daily doses of radiation throughout the next month. This will leave her unable to work due to scheduling constraints and possible side effects.
This account has been set up to help Jill offset some of the costs for her medical bills, as well as to assist her with the financial struggles that will occur as a result of her decreased income. We will also plan to host an event on her behalf at Heavy's, so be on the lookout for more information.
Thank you for taking the time to read this! Your support is very much appreciated by Jill and her daughter Peyton.
