Loving up Karma & Dafuti Sherpa

Dear friends of Karma & Dafuti Sherpa.

Karma & Dafuti have spent their entire lives working to ease the suffering of others in distress, both near and far. That is who they are. In heart. In mind. In spirit.

We know what they would do for us in our time of need. Anything and everything possible.

 

It is our turn now.

 

Through horrifying conditions, the clothes they were wearing and with literally minutes to spare, Karma, Dafuti, Sonam and little Sonia fled their home in the teeth of the withering smoke and flames of the Marshal fire on 12/30/21. Thankfully, Karma's quick and decisive action saved their lives and their automobile, but having absolutely no time to consider any personal effects whatsoever it appears their home and every item they own is a complete loss. Imagine fleeing our smoke engulfed homes with our children and nothing more than one credit card. Never to return.

 

It is our turn now.

 

Karma & Dafuti would argue that they still have everything, everything that matters. Although true, they very much need our help. Living on a credit card isn't a viable option.

 

Sonia has no toys

Sonam no school supplies

No one has any clothes

They need to replace every basic essential.
