My dear friend Jacqui, who I’ve known and cherished for many years, is going through one of the most painful moments of her life.

She received the devastating call from her mother, Carol, letting her know that her beloved father, Ronald Harry Davis, suddenly passed away at the age of 97 in New Zealand.

Ronald and Carol have built a beautiful life together in New Zealand, and their family has always been so close and loving. Jacqui is utterly heartbroken ~ this sudden loss has left her shocked, grieving, and longing to be surrounded by her family right now.

In this time of deep sorrow, Jacqui desperately needs to fly home to New Zealand to be with her mum Carol and the rest of her family for her father’s memorial. She needs to hold them close, say her gentle goodbyes, and find comfort together as they remember the wonderful man Ronald was.

Being there in person means everything to her ~ it’s the only place she truly wants to be during these tender, heartbreaking days.

Last-minute flights from England are so costly, and the emotional weight she’s already carrying is heavy enough. Any act of kindness to help cover Jacqui’s flight home, transfers, and being with her family would be such a meaningful gift.

Every single donation ~ no matter how small ~ will ease her burden and allow her to focus on what matters most: honouring her dad’s memory and leaning on the love of her family in this fragile time.
