Loving Support For Bennie & Diana Najar

In November my brother Bennie‘s wife Diana will receive a living donor liver transplant from her sister Libby. Diana has suffered from Primary Biliary Cholangitis, a chronic liver disease, for many years. So coming to this moment in life is truly a Blessing and a Miracle. We were overcome with joy at the news. But with that joy also comes many emotions with what lies in the months ahead.

If you know Bennie and Diana you know that they always go above and beyond to help family and friends when asked. They offer their time, energy and monetary donations. They will not ask for any assistance right now, so I am reaching out to you on their behalf. Now is our time to give back. Diana has been off work since September and has fallen ill with an unexpected hospital stay as recent as last week. Following the November transplant surgery, Diana‘s road to recovery will be long and extensive with countless medical expenses and loss of income. I am reaching out to family and friends and everyone who knows Bennie and Diana and asking for your help. We are requesting monetary donations to help cover the costs of endless medical bills and expenses related to Diana’s liver transplant and recovery. It is anticipated Diana’s recovery could last at least a year so we’ve set our goal at $50,000. The funds will provide income assistance, medical expenses, aftercare, prescription co-pays and the living donor’s medical bills associated with the transplant, which is Diana’s responsibility. Your generous contribution will go directly to Bennie and Diana as beneficiaries of this fund to assist them during the months ahead. Our goal is to ease the stress and anxiety of their finances while Diana is recovering. The gift of this life saving transplant should not carry a burden of financial worry. Together we can do this.
