With Christmas 1 day away, I never expected to be writing this. I am Chantal Lopes, I woke up to the news my best friend had been the one rushed to hospital with serious injuries following last nights 5 vehicle pile up on highway 9. Dianna Tedesco single loving mother of 2 school aged children, was heading home , excited to wind down & enjoy the holidays with her kids, but today she finds herself confined to a hospital bed, with serious injuries. In a fragment of a second her plans changed, life proves once again to be so delicate. My best Friend deserved to get home to her kids and spend the holidays as she had planned. Dianna for many of you who know her, is the human being who will drop everything to help someone. She is the light on your darkest days. She won’t ever give up on you. Dianna takes care of everyone, with no expectations, now it’s time we as a community come together and take care of her. She never asks for help, she doesn’t ever want to burden anyone, but today we carry the burden with you because the weight becomes lighter. Please help this beautiful soul, she will not be able to return to work until she is healed, let help take the financial worry away so she can focus on her recovery and being present for her children.
