**update**
My mom has passed on, on her own terms Saturday February 8th at 11:35pm, she was surrounded by family and friends. I held her hand until her final breath and until her heart beated one last time. We all will miss her so deeply but are also feeling the relief knowing her pain is finally over and that she is free.
Hello family and friends.
As many have known for some time, my mom has been hospitalized since Sept 12th.
What most don't know is she was diagnosed with a rare terminal disease called calciphylaxis. We have known for some time now what her outcome/expectancy would be.
She is currently in ICU and we are getting ready to prepare for hospice soon since she is declining. Unfortunately, she has no life insurance and we are stuck in this financial situation trying to seek help from family and friends.
For those who don't know my mom well and are just curious to know more, let me tell you.
My mom has the biggest personality and heart I've ever known. If she meets you once, she will tell you her whole life story and want to know everything about you. She is ALWAYS willing to lend a helping hand to any family or friend who needed it. She is a TRUE ride or die and is down to do anything. My mom has been my best friend my entire life; I love her so much. She asked me to make this months ago when we found out her diagnosis, and I just couldn't imagine a life without her, but I want to ensure the arrangements she wants are done for her.
I want to again thank all my family and friends for being supportive during this difficult time.
