Loving memory of Mal Westrop
We are beyond devastated to have lost the legend that was Malcolm Westrop.
He was a Father, Grandfather, Fiancee , councillor, friend, champion piss taker, Bristol Rovers obsessive, and a joker until the very end.
There are literally no words to express how much we’re all going to miss him, the outpouring of love we've received from friends and former colleagues has blown us away. He was LOVED!
If this unbareably shit situation has taught me anything, its this;
LIFE. IS . TOO . SHORT.
I've ALWAYS talked about doing a sky dive ... And in 2020, I promised I would do something that scared me. So in his name, and to raise money for a wonderful charity, I'm going to do it.
Dad was cared for by The Florence Nightingale Trust in his last week. They provide compassionate, end of life care, and we've all been touched by their warmth in such heartbreaking circumstances. They really are the angels that walk amongst us.
Florence Nightingale are owned by the NHS, but like most front line services, they need fundraising to help them stay open.
I couldn't think of a better way to honour my Dad. I know he'll be laughing down at me when the nerves settle in and I start to lose my bottle.
Please would you consider sponsoring me?
Any amount at all is gratefully received, and every single penny will go to the hospice that looked after Dad.
Thank you, Thank you xxx
