We are reaching out to ask for help during the hardest and most heartbreaking time our family has ever faced. We are trying to raise money to give Brodie Scorer, the funeral and farewell he deserves. Brodie was only 19 years old, with his whole life ahead of him, and losing him has left a hole in our family that words cannot explain. Brodie was a very reserved and quiet young man who didn’t always say a lot, but he had a heart that spoke volumes. He was someone who believed in standing up for what was right, and he would always stand up for his family and friends whenever they needed him. He cared deeply about the people he loved and, even though he may have kept his feelings to himself, those close to him knew how much he cared. No parent should ever have to make funeral arrangements for their child, especially a child so young, and we are struggling to come to terms with the reality that Brodie is no longer here with us. Along with the overwhelming grief, we are now facing the financial burden of arranging his funeral, and we simply cannot manage these costs on our own. We want to be able to give Brodie a beautiful and respectful farewell, surrounded by the people who loved him, and create a service that reflects the person he was and the place he will always hold in our hearts.
