Loving Janice and Larry ❤️

In the evening of July 2nd, Janice and Larry were in a serious car accident near Ladysmith. They were driving North when they were T-boned and spun into a pole. Aunty Jan was air lifted in critical condition to Victoria General. She lived on life support for the first three days, but has since been able to prove cognition and it has been removed. She remains in a deep sleep. She has had several surgeries to date and sadly, has many more to battle through. She has an unmeasurable number of broken bones and the impact affected her vital organs and brain.

Uncle Larry was transported to Nanaimo with a brain bleed in critical condition. It was important to the kids to have their parents together, as the first 24 hours were very vulnerable. The hospitals transported Uncle Larry to Victoria General, where he has since been downgraded to Serious Condition.

The only signs of communication that Aunty Jan has given is slight eyebrows lifts and stretching her fingers towards her grandchildren as they spoke in her hospital room. We are asking for support to help our cousins stay in Victoria and be with their parents.
