Mark Carini

This go fund me page is being set up for the benefit of the Carini Family. With high hopes and ongoing prayer —we are trying to assist with the enormous and surmounting medical bills and travel expenses. The expenses are massively incurring for our dear friends, the Carini Family.

On June 1, 2021, life changed dramatically for this gracious, generous, beautiful family. Mark suffered a sudden hemorrhagic stroke. Mark was rushed to Leesburg Hospital and life-flighted to The University of Florida, Heart and Vascular Center where his condition quickly worsened. Including pneumonia complications which in turn put a 2 week roadblock to the testing and treatment of the stroke. An induced coma included necessary paralytic treatments and ventilator to give his lungs and brain much needed rest and recovery.

Mark has been making his family and friends so proud as he fights for his life with each and every breath. Currently, June 13th, Mark was removed from all paralytics, sedatives and pain meds as they have done their work. Mark's respiratory drive is strong now and we are waiting anxiously for him to awaken so the amazing team of doctors and nurses can assess any damage this stroke may have caused.

In the meantime, bills are mounting for this amazing and sweet family. Jackie in Pa., Ryan in S.C., Julie in N.C. and Deb & Marks home being 1.5 hours away from the Hospital. Hotel costs, flights, meals and other expenses are quickly mounting...and you can only imagine the hospital bills that are racking up!

A little about these beautiful humans...

1. They ALL give more than they take...to everyone!! For the last 15 years or more including rearranging their homes and lives to house ill and aging parents and family. They have hearts bigger than the US and their sacrifices are limitless...to include rescuing and nursing cats, squirrels, birds and you name it...If it breathes they care deeply and NEVER ask for anything in return!

2. They have beautiful servant hearts! The first there for all spending their time, talents and finances to those in need.

3. You need a career? Housing? Rides? Meals? Music? An empathetic ear? Whatever your need, they got your back and are willing to lend a hand!

4. Mark recently retired and in October 2020, they sold their house in Little River and moved to The Villages—Mark's dreamland! Mark and Debbie finally have time for them!

5. Ryan - Air Force Reserves, Firefighter 5 yrs, EMT, public safety in NMB 1 year. Now earning his pilots license! WOW!

6. Julie is a recent Graduate in 2021 from Guilford College in Greensboro NC where she excelled academically and athletically helping lead the Quaker Ladies Basketball team to success holding 2 school records! Julie is active in church and young adult leadership, discipling others to know her Jesus more! In Dec 2020 Julie got engaged to Sam Mott, her college sweetheart and they will wed 11/5/21! They are in the process of relocating back to NMB and securing jobs in their new careers!

7. Deb and Mark continue to take financial care and supportive care of aging mothers, both Mark's and Debbie's moms, who were recently placed in assisted living nearby.

8. While they've been diligent to give as well as save for this part of their life together, it has not been an easy road. They've Proven themselves as loyal, trustworthy, generous, super kind and faithful.

Every little bit is a huge help to their difficult situation. Any consideration will take a world of worries off of their current burden.
