Hi everyone, I had created a GoFundMe for my mom this same time last year when she was diagnosed with a rare large B cell lymphoma. This past year has been rough really rough. My mom had went through several rounds of chemo therapy we even made it to the stem cell transfer. Two weeks before Thanksgiving mom was going in for her stem cell transplant and had a few tests ran. The spot had grown. My parents were faced with a decision to do a very heavy round of chemo and the transplant or to wait and have her T cells sent off that would help to determine what medications she needed for her specifically. They decided to proceed with chemo and the transplant. It really did a number on mom and set her back. Everyday is trying but we get through it no matter what is thrown our way. Up until a month ago my dad hadn’t left her side. Dad was helping mom and as she started to fall he swooped in to save her from hitting the ground. After a few days he started hurting really bad and thought he just needed rest because he had blown his back out. Little did we know it was much worse. We had a few doctors appointments and some X-rays that revealed that awful “C” word no one ever wants to hear. Cancer. Dad has two baseball size masses in his chest. The doctors are amazing and doing everything they can. Dad is currently in UTSW Dallas on the same floor as mom being treated for stage 4 small cell carcinoma.
Along with all of this awful news there comes a financial burden of medical bills or anything else they need. We want to help try and relieve some stress. Donations are greatly appreciated. Anything helps even if it’s just prayers.
