This may come as a shock to many of you, but if you know Leona well, then you know that she has never been one to gripe or seek help.  

This woman is pure loving and loveable grit but two months ago, our dear friend began a medical nightmare. 

The family has kept details from being publicly shared as privacy has always been Leona's M.O. 

She is receiving wonderful medical care and is incredibly appreciative of her surgeons, nurses and other medical professionals.  Her husband Jerry Tamborello has remained by her side every day and her children and extended family have been with her every possible moment. 

Leona never asks for help so a group of us (her girlfriends) are asking for your help with the financial burden that has now become Leona and Jerry's reality.  We ask that you consider a donation to off set some of their medical costs of an over two month hospital stay (and no end in sight) as well as lost wages. 

Their lives have been forever altered.
