Hi, my name is Lynn, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit. My beautiful granddaughter, Lovii, was born on February 4, 2025, and her journey since birth has been filled with incredible challenges and courage.

Lovii spent her first month in the NICU and was then flown to the Children’s Hospital in Minnesota, where she remained until May 13, 2025. During her stay, she underwent life-saving surgeries, including blood vessel transplants on both sides of her heart. She was also born with a large cleft palate in the back of her throat that cannot be repaired until she is at least 12 months old. In addition, she has renal fusion and required a G-tube surgery on May 9.

This has taken a serious emotional and financial toll on our family. The medical bills are overwhelming, and there are many more tests, treatments, and hospital visits to come — including a return to Minnesota in September for further evaluation.
