My Father's Memorial Fund
Donation protected

He was a strong, caring man with whom I got to spend my 21 years of life so far with. I've lost the most important man a girl will ever have in her life with no warning signs. Which is still hard to say and comprehend. My dad had faced death on other occasions, but always fought through and even beat cancer at one point.
My dad made every effort and more aside from any adversity he was facing in life to show me he loved me and supported me even though I only got to spend weekends with him growing up. I'll miss him calling every night to ask how my day was and to say I love you and sweet dreams. He always told me I was his greatest accomplishment in life, and the proudest one at that.
Unfortunately, I've had to be independently financially responsible for myself and my mom since I was 18 and still in high school.
My dad had no life insurance or savings and both my mom and dad have been on disability for ten years. I've already spent my early adulthood working and struggling to keep a roof over my mom and I, the lights turned on, and some food in the fridge.
I created this donation campaign for my father's cremation because I cannot do it alone. I wouldn't need to ask for help, but the funeral home doubled the price they quoted me for the cremation because of his size...
He has a big heart so he needs a big box.
I more than understand what it's like to be financially strapped, which is why I'm someone who would be more than the word grateful can describe if anyone wants to help.
ANYTHING HELPS!
thank you for taking the time to care and read this.
Much love to everyone,
Samantha
