Hi! We're Dave and Mel, also known as, Love Sound Movement, a Sudbury, ON, based husband and wife, acoustic/electronic vocal duo. After going through a really difficult season in life, we're celebrating our 17th wedding anniversary this summer, with a project near and dear to our hearts. In faith, we're planning on recording a very special collection of original songs. We're asking for your help to reach our goal.
Contributing to our seven song album will go directly to help pay for the cost of recording each song in Toronto with fabulous producer, engineer, and musician, Derek Hoffman, of Fox Sounds. He previously produced two songs for us, "Come (Like A Child)," and, "Turn Around," which continue to be played across Canada on Christian Radio!
An initial deposit of $5,000 in May secures our dates in the studio. Recording the full project is set to take place from June 12th to 16th, 2017. (We will be wrapping up the day before our anniversary!) The remainder of the funds will kick in on the last days of recording and final mixes. There will be even more costs associated with completing the project, including lodging during recording, photography, album art, album printing and production, online distribution, the list goes on... Each contribution brings us a little closer to the goal. If you're able to donate "goods" or services instead, in relation to this campaign and/or recording project, please send us a message. We're going out of our comfort zones, out on a limb, to invite your support. Music is a huge part of our lives. We "live and breathe" it daily, and know there are many who appreciate it in a similar way... maybe you do, too. We're incredibly excited to offer up our new music. We believe in it, and know without a doubt that making music with positive, thought-provoking, and heartfelt messages is part of our life purpose. As you can see, quality recording is expensive. Your support would not only encourage us, but also be a tremendous help, and, it would mean the world! You would be part of taking our music to the next level, helping it go far and wide.
