Hello, my name is Ann and I’ve been friends with Jill for 10 years. I’ve happily shared many joyful moments with her over the years as she’s grown her family to a party of four.

However, in December 2023, Jill’s young daughter, Lennix, was diagnosed with a Malignant Rhabdoid Tumor. Because of this life-changing diagnosis, this sweet and feisty baby has had to undergo a cancer treatment plan consisting of diagnostic scans, tumor removal surgery, and port placement. Lennix is now bravely receiving chemotherapy…as a one-year-old.

Although many details about the coming months are unknown, we do know it will be a long road for Lennix and her family as treatment is likely to span the majority of 2024.

This is a heart wrenching diagnosis for this beloved family of four. If you know Jill and her husband Byron, they are two of the most humble human beings who are always the first to support those around them. While their focus is on supporting Lennix right now, I am making this request on their behalf.

I have spent my career working in the healthcare field and have seen firsthand the challenges confronting a family facing a childhood cancer diagnosis.

My goal here is to ease the financial burdens that accompany cancer diagnoses and treatments. I want Byron and Jill to be able to spend as much time as they can with their precious little ones and keep their home a place of joy and happiness. I want them to be able to make decisions that give the Lennix the opportunity to receive the best care that is available regardless of price tags or physical locations of treatment options. I want them to know they are never alone in this journey.
