Loves For Lucie

Hello friends! I’m Karis and decided to set this up for my sister and her precious family. Renae, my oldest sister, and her husband Tom are two of the most giving people I have ever met in my life. They love to support their community and the people they love. They would never have done anything like this for themselves, because of their selflessness. With that being said, I believe their family is most deserving of a GIFT!

While Renae was pregnant, they found abnormalities in their second daughter, Lucie’s bladder and kidney. These issues have progressed. They have met with specialist and after their last visit he believes she not only had a neurogenic bladder but also bowel, and believes there may be spinal chord damage. The specialist has decided it would be best for  Lucie’s health and future to have a complete revisision on her Vesicostomy. This is the only way she can use the bathroom and it hasn’t been functioning properly causing her to have constant pain and recurring infections. With Lucie only having one kidney it is imperative for this to work properly so her healthy kidney is unharmed. They have to travel to Atlanta for every appointment and have been doing this the last two years. Lucie is scheduled to have her procedure done in two weeks and I know traveling, medical expenses, and housing can get pretty expensive, so I just thought this could be a way for me to relieve some stress from them so they can give Lucie and their other two precious children Everly Kate and Amos their undivided attention and get adjusted without missing a beat. 

Lucie has been put under sedation 8 times and has been poked and prodded more than most adults are in a lifetime at just 2 years old. She is our “little miss can do” and we know the Lord has a wonderful plan for her!
