Loves for Locke
Donation protected
After a perfectly normal and healthy pregnancy, labor, and delivery, Macie and Wyatt Tullis were thrilled to welcome their first child, Locke, into the world on Tuesday, April 18. Unfortunately, moments after his birth, things unexpectedly took a turn for the worse and he had to be emergency-transported to the University of Utah Hospital, and then quickly transported again to Primary Children’s Hospital to undergo potentially life-saving procedures.
Despite these attempts, on April 21, 2023, just three days after Locke's birth, Macie and Wyatt were faced with the impossible decision to let their precious baby return to his Heavenly Father. Locke passed from this life and into the next cradled in the arms of his parents on Saturday, April 22, 2023. As you can imagine, this means that not only are Macie and Wyatt facing considerable medical bills after doing everything imaginable to give their baby a chance to live, but they are now also faced with the added expense of a burial.
If you've ever met Macie or Wyatt, you know that being parents means the world to them. Macie has completed several service missions to help children across the world, and together they recently traveled to Kenya to give back to children there as well. On top of that, they are the most amazing aunt and uncle to their three nieces and nephew.
Needless to say, this loss is devastating. The fact that on top of grieving the loss of their child they must now also worry about medical expenses is preposterous, so we are asking for your help. Every dollar donated will go directly to helping Wyatt and Macie pay for medical expenses and the burial of their child. Please give anything you can, as every donation makes a difference. Please help us show them our love and support and provide them with a beacon of hope and reassurance of the goodness in the world in one of their darkest moments.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any donation.
