Love On Linda!

Donation protected
Linda Filipi, wife, mom, nurse and human extradonaire!

Linda has dedicated her whole life to taking care of others.  As an ICU nurse, she literally saved lives while showering love on each of her patients.  After her surgery over a decade ago "to fix" her tethered spinal cord (resulting from spina bifida as a child) she developed Arachnoiditis, inflammation of the spinal cord lining.  It is a pain disorder that causes severe stinging, burning and aggressive degenerative neuropathy in Linda's legs.  We all know her pain and loss of function gets worse as each day goes by!  But that hasn't stopped Linda! She transitioned from the ICU to becoming a Diabetic Educator.  So now she showered love on her patients while educating them on how best to live with Diabetes.

In addtion to being a wonderful mother to Luke and wife to Joe, Linda spends most of her free time volunteering with two Non-Profits.
                                Yes, not one but TWO!

Her first NGO was started 7 years ago with her father-in-law and runs Diabetic Clinics in the Domican Republic. (See above photo) Her second non-profit raises money and awareness for Water for Haiti! You can find out more about her NGO (non-governmental organization) on her Facebook page

Linda is unstoppable!! She is a force of love for our thirsty world!  I call her the Mother Teresa of Orange County!

Now life has thrown her a curve ball!
Her disability is trying to knock her down....literally.  She has been unable to work for several months and stuggling to get around in a heavy wheelchair (attempting to heal a nasty huge wound on her left foot).  Just a couple of weeks ago she broke two bones in her right leg (her good leg!) After being discharged from the hospital, she is now confined to her bed to rest and promote healing in both her legs.  She is also been battling a life-threating bacterial infection for months requiring her to recieve IV antibiotics through a central IV Line.  It seems to be one debilitating battle after another!  She needs a light-weight wheelchair, a lift to get her up to the only shower in their two story home, and other medical equipment to just make daily life doable.  She can no longer work, but we all know she will find a way to continue to shower the world with her love!

LET'S CHANGE IT UP!
Let's Sprinkle, no!, Let's Pour, no!, Let's Completely Drench Linda with Love!!  Let's help her and her family with crazy medical equipment ($20,000 just for the lift!), loss of income and health insurance, and all those pesky bills that keep piling up.

Let' get Linda back on the Road to Recovery so she can continue to do what she was put on this earth to do! Love on her people and transform her world!  Let's LOVE ON LINDA so Linda can get back to doing what Linda does best...Love!

Thank you so much
in advance for your generosity!  We all know it takes a village! If you can, pass this on, share this, and link this message to as many people as possible!

If you know Linda, you know she would tell you that what she desires most is your prayers and words of encouragement.  So please reach out to her, she needs her village to rise up and surround her with words of encouragement and love more than ever!

If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask.  I know Linda doesn't want to ask for help, so that is why I am on her behalf.  Thank you again from the bottom of my heart!
