Love for our Mighty Quinn
Donation protected
This sweet boy is named, Quinn. He is 8 months old, and was diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer just two short months ago.
After Thanksgiving, Quinn’s abdomen was found to be unusually firm. What was presumed to be a gassy tummy/constipation, quickly turned into an urgent care visit and a rushed admission to Pittsburgh Children’s Hospital. After many tests, Quinn’s doctor’s confirmed his parent’s worst fears: Stage 3 Hepatoblastoma. Cancer of the liver. Chemo was set to begin immediately.
Unfortunately, routine chemo treatments have turned into many and elongated hospital stays.
Quinn’s parents (Rachel and JC), along with their other son, Phoenix, who is 2 years old, have
found their lives turned upside down. Rachel is an industrial hygienist, and has
had to step away from her job, temporarily. While JC has nearly exhausted all of his paid leave from his job as an engineer. They have also had to remove Phoenix from daycare because of a simple cold he brought home, that landed Quinn in the hospital for over a week.
We are asking for donations to assist Quinn and his family as they navigate through
this difficult time. They are on round 3 of a projected 6-8 rounds of chemo, and impending
surgery and liver transplant. As work hours are decreasing, living expenses are becoming a burden . Please give as you feel led; but most importantly, we ask for your prayers. The love and support Quinn’s family has received thus far from both close friends and random strangers, has brought this young family the hope, encouragement, and endurance they need to fight this battle.
We are believing with all of our hearts that our Mighty Quinn is going to beat this thing.
Please share our story and stand with Quinn and his family as he fights.
Ephesians 6:10... Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in His Mighty power.
Mighty Quinn, taking his chemo like a champ!
Quinn, big brother Phoenix, and their Grandma.
