Lovely is a beautiful cat in need of dental care. Upon her arrival at Furry Tales Cat Rescue, she had a mouth full of infection, broken teeth, and a healing jaw fracture. Upon further examination, the infection had even spread into her lower jaw. The infection has completely rotted the jaw in half. Lovely underwent urgent dental surgery to remove the affected teeth and is now on antibiotics to get rid of the infection. Once she’s healed, we’ll determine if she needs jaw reconstruction.

Despite all she’s been through, Lovely lives up to her name—gentle, affectionate, and full of love.

We wish we could help every cat like her. Sadly, as a donation-based rescue, our resources are limited—and Lovely is one of the lucky ones. But her care is costly: her veterinary expenses have already reached $3,500.
