Mikey's fight against Brain Cancer
At 9 years old, Michael is the youngest of 4 children. He is a 3rd grader at Mountain Springs Elementary in Cabot, Arkansas. He always has a smile on his face and one of the sweetest boys you'll ever meet.
Michael had been having severe headaches and vomiting his mother had taken him to the doctor several times and he was being diagnosed with strep throat, But Michael could not stand up and his mother knew this was not strep throat. She had taken him to a local ER close to her town and they said that there was nothing wrong with him to take him home. She could not bare to see Michael in this much pain. So Lindsey took him to the ER at Arkansas Childrens Hospital in Little Rock.
On March 18, 2016 Michael had a cat scan done and found a brain tumor and 3 days later had surgery to remove the tumor and the biopsy came back with the news that our little Michael has Medulloblastoma a level 4 cancer. The doctors say he will undergo months of radiation and chemotherapy. They went in today April 6th 2016 to put in a port for his chemotherapy.
His Mother Lindsey lives here in Arkansas with him and his father John has his home in Colorado and they are both with him now at Childrens Hospital. They are both amazing parents and would never ever want any child to go thru what Michael is having to go thru.
