Love for Marlena
Donation protected
Hello Family, Friends, Supporters…
My dear sister, Marlena Caraballo (45-years young) has been battling stage-4 colon cancer for a year. On September 29, 2015, she was hospitalized and was told that there was no standard treatment available for her. She was discharged after 2+ long and difficult months to home hospice where she has been since. She is in need of 24-hour care and thanks to family & friends, we have been able to care for her. If you are blessed enough to be around her, you will experience her tenacity, faith, and love. On many occasions she will withstand pain just because she doesn’t want to miss out on her time with others.
After much research, we have discovered alternative treatments that show promising results in “terminal” colon-cancer patients and want to explore every possibility that will give her a fighting chance…the problem is that these treatments are costly and are not covered by her insurance. She is also on long-term disability, which has cut her income significantly. I’m reaching out to you to help supplement the cost of therapeutic treatment, 24-hour care, travel costs to/from treatment, nutritional/naturopathic consults, therapeutic nutrition and supplements, etc. No donation is too small…together we can help give her a chance to tell the story of her recovery.
With much love and gratitude,
Lily
